I love this thing! The scent is quite strong (and for anyone with olfactory sensitivities, you might want to pass on essential oils in general), but it's not *so* strong that I can't use it without making my own headaches worse. Perfect amount of dilution - it also creates a cooling, menthol-like feeling on the skin, but again, it's not too much, and frankly, just enhances the relaxation, rather than make my skin crawl for the want of it!It doesn't stop a migraine that's already going, and it won't prevent the mental processing problems (such as lingual, auditory, temperature, aura, reaction times, ability to register changes in the environment, etc. for me) that come with, but it does dramatically cut the pain and relax the muscles enough to prevent further tension problems, which means it also cuts down on overall migraine duration. The oil applies very well and a little goes a long way, meaning the small stick lasts for an impressive number of treatments without being too cumbersome to keep in my purse. For $10 (or $16, without Prime), it's a steal - I've never found anything more effective and able to get me back on my feet so quickly, if not allow me to stay up and functional entirely.I'd recommend this product to anyone who suffers migraines (or tension headaches - I've found this helps me with tension, too), provided they're not too sensitive to scents or touch to use it.
