This is the first and only deodorant I have been able to use that not only works but works all day and does not cause my sensitive skin to itch! I’m a sweater who lives in the humidity of Florida, and deodorants tend to either do little or nothing for me except have me constantly checking myself for odor and giving my clothing a funky smell. In the past I have had to douse the armpits of my tops with a Listerine and water concoction before laundering to remove whatever heinous odor developed between my natural body odor and the deodorant I was wearing. I have read reviews and spent the money on those with great claims and reviews, all of them ending in disappointment and a lighter wallet. Until now. Knowing the ingredients are safe, without aluminum, parabens, synthetic fragrances, etc. is a definite plus. Some reviewers talk about the container and the threading of the cap not working properly, but the manufacturer must’ve rectified the issue because I have not experienced this. I have tried the sandalwood & pepper (definitely an acquired scent, heavy on the pepper), lavender & lemon (mostly smell lavender), and unscented. My favorite, by far, is the unscented. They all glide on easily and dry and remain invisible, without any telltale white marks on my clothing or without gathering in the folds of my armpits. I would call this deodorant absolutely perfect!!
I've been trying different deodorants, Natural and otherwise. I like sticking with the natural stuff, as it makes me feel a little better about what I'm putting in my body. Since we do absorb through our skin, chemicals and toxins, and sits our armpits sit closed all day, unless we have a job waving our arms in the air like we just don't care, they seem like a place where these chemicals can get in more easily. Perhaps not.Still, if you didn't have to use a deodorant that has Aluminum and other weird ingredients you just don't think a right for your body, this one offers a completely natural ingredient list.FRAGRANCES: I've only tried two: Coconut and lime, Citrus and vetiver. By far, the citrus and vetiver fragrance is far better than coconut and line. Where one smells exactly like what you might expect, coconut and lime smells much more like coconut oil with little or no lime. It's just not pleasing. I was hoping it would smell more like suntan lotion with lime. That was entirely not what I got
I've only had this product for a couple of weeks but so far I really like it. However, I've been using natural deodorant for many years and I will say if you're just making the switch from long term use of antiperspirant, you're likely going to experience some issues. Once the buildup of your antiperspirant disappears, you'll probably sweat quite a lot, initially. And if you're not careful, you may get intertrigo which is a rash that can develop in skin folds. It won't happen to everyone, but for those converting to natural deodorant, I'd recommend drying your underarms very thoroughly after you get out of the shower and then applying this. If you sweat a lot, you may need to apply this more than once per day. Make sure your underarms are dry with each application.I noted some reviews said they had staining on their clothes. I haven't had this, but I wear loose clothes and I don't sweat much. Not sure if that's a factor, but worth noting.
I have really sensitive skin and when I sweat I need a strong enough deodorant but I wanted something that was not full of bad chemicals so I decided to try this out. I wanted to test to see if this could handle anything so I put it on went to work and when I came home I decided to mow the lawn. After an hour of mowing the lawn I went inside and went to take a shower I noticed I didn't smell musty at all which is a surprise because normally with other deodorants they typically wear off within 8 hour's or so. This stuff didn't irritate me at all and it lasted for well over 12 hours plus it didn't cake up at all under my arms which is nice as well I am a customer for life with this product.
I tried this one and Native. I would have to say this one last much longer than Native deodorant but I liked Native fragrance better. So shocked after having my son then finding out my mom had breast cancer I was on the search for an aluminum free deodorant but also my Oder had changed after having my first child and dove, suave, and degree were not working the same for me. Before my son deodorant for me was a suggestion now it’s required lol it’s amazing how a woman’s body can change. This deodorant has less reviews then Native and the smell of them are ok I have only tried the lavender and citrus so far but they last under my arms and that means the most to me!! Because before finding this one I asked the dr if there was any kind of prescription deodorant. I know it sounds odd but I was getting desperate even just a couple hours after showering My arm pits didn’t smell as fresh. But this is working and I’m thank full for it.
